First, there must be proper lighting and the best lighting comes during the golden hour when the lighting is softer. Second, you must achieve balance in the picture where everyone holds power in the picture. Third, the angle at which you take the selfie is important. A higher angle not only creates more visual interest but also it is a more flattering angle. Finally, you want to make sure that everyone is focused on the camera. I am super satisfied with this picture, especially in black and white. The natural background emphasizes the people, and the contrast and lighting are good.
