Kaia Faye James Portfolio
Project Description:
I have entered a personal portfolio of work to display some of the art I've been working on over the last year. I created this website in anticipation of going into the Digital Media program at Worcester Technical High School. I am hoping the teachers can review it and help me to improve my design work during the program of study.
I used the program Canva to create the website. It's free and has most of the functionality you would want in a website. I would prefer the website be broken into individual pages, but Canva only allows for websites to be continuously scrolling. Because my portfolio site is simple, I think it is still a great presentation of my work.
I edited the text and colors to be very simple so that the site would highlight my artwork. I added the navigation menu to make it user-friendly. I also added an "About Me" page to highlight my singing, acting, and extracurricular activities. I plan to develop the About Me page in the future with my resume and additional singing and acting clips,
Project Directions:
The URL should be copied and pasted into a trusted browser like Chrome or Safari. The website is made with Canva, which only allows for a continuously scrolling website. It does however have a navigation menu that will jump to each page.
