Snow Berries
Project Description:
These vibrant berries stood out in the snow and I couldn't help but photograph them. For this photograph, I used the portrait mode on my phone camera. I positioned the camera to center the berries but also capture the framing leaves on each side. The berries basically run down the center of the photo at an angle. The light illuminated the berries but also created interesting shadows on the leaves. I also wanted to look down upon the berries so the snow beneath could provide a contrasting background. In editing the photo, I increased the brightness and used vignette to darken the outside of the photo, making the main content pop.
